Youth Mental Health Community Forum13th September, 2022
Have concerns about a young person that you need help with? Want to know where to start when seeking support? Have questions you need answered?
For World Mental Health Day, we’re bringing the Yarra Ranges together for a big discussion about the mental health of young people in the area.
Join us on Sunday 9 October and hear from local youth mental health specialists about the challenges young people are facing, while getting tips and information on how to access support.
We also have a panel of young people to provide much needed perspective on their experiences, because having the right conversations with young people is crucial.
After the panel discussions, you can speak to members of our team, pick up some resources and information to take home, and continue the discussion on how we can best support young people in the Yarra Ranges with their mental health.
Date: Sunday 9 October
Location: Council building, 15 Anderson St, Lilydale
All Yarra Ranges residents are welcome.
If you are unable to attend in person, the event will be live streamed via our YouTube page.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT
When registering via the link below you can submit a question to be put to the panel. We may not get to everyone’s questions during the community forum, but will endeavor to respond via email.
